We constantly upgrade our computer technology to improve our cost-effectiveness. We also increase our cost-effectiveness by maintaining a full library of Rutter Group Practice Guides. For specialized research, we use Lexis/Nexis; and for all research we use Shepards to verify that all cited cases are good law. To the extent necessary, we also have access to the San Diego County Law Library, which is only five minutes from our office.
We keep current in our practice areas by subscribing to hard copy and on-line services such as the Los Angeles Daily Journal and Law.com, which provide us with the latest appellate decisions on a daily basis. We also frequently attend important Rutter Group and CEB seminars, such as annual Update seminars on Civil Procedure and other relevant areas.
